The fleece is thick enough that I've stopped reaching for a jacket on cool evenings. The pouch pocket sits at a good height for keeping my hands warm, and the ribbed cuffs actually stay put instead of stretching out.
Wore this on a chilly morning hike and the 8 oz fleece kept me warm without feeling bulky. The pouch pocket is roomy enough for my phone and keys, and the rib knit cuffs actually stay put.
I love how the drawcord matches the hoodie fabric perfectly—small detail but makes it look clean. The classic fit is just right for layering, and the rib knit cuffs hold their shape well.
