Great Lakes Loons Home Office and Car Accessories: Worth It?

Quick Answer

For car and office fan gear, the Great Lakes Loons Road Sticker offers the most versatile value at just $3.50, while the GL Snapback and Pride Mesh Snapback serve as functional desk or bag accessories. Choose based on whether you prioritize price, adjustability, or community support.

When you're a Loons fan, showing team spirit doesn't stop at the ballpark. From your car to your home office, small accessories can keep the excitement alive. But with so many options, it's worth comparing what actually delivers value.

We'll look at a few popular items—stickers, caps, and tees—to help you decide which ones are worth adding to your collection.

Car Fan Gear: Stickers vs. Caps

For your car, a vinyl window decal like the Great Lakes Loons Road Sticker is a classic choice. At $3.50 (marked down from $7.00), it's an affordable way to show your Loons pride on the go. The sticker is designed as a vinyl window decal, so it's meant for outdoor use and can handle the elements.

Caps, on the other hand, aren't ideal for car display but can serve as a backup if you forget your hat for a game. The Great Lakes Loons Bimm Ridder White GL Snapback at $9.50 is a budget-friendly option, but it's more functional as a wearable accessory than a car decoration.

• If you want car-specific gear, stickers are the clear winner for price and purpose.

Office and Desk Accessories: Comparing Caps

In a home office, caps can double as desk decor or a handy way to hold small items. The Great Lakes Loons OC Sports Pride Mesh Snapback at $12.00 offers a modern mesh design and supports Pride Night, making it a meaningful addition. Its adjustable snapback ensures a comfortable fit for most head sizes.

The White GL Snapback is simpler and cheaper, but both are officially licensed and made from quality materials. If you want a cap that sparks conversation and shows community support, the Pride Mesh Snapback stands out.

• For office display, consider the cap's design and story as much as its price.

Tees as Multi-Purpose Fan Gear

Though not strictly an office or car accessory, a tee like the Great Lakes Loons Bimm Ridder Dodger Blue Cursive Tee ($14.00) can be worn to work or casual Fridays, blending team pride with everyday style. Its 100% cotton fabric makes it comfortable for long hours, and it pairs well with the Loons' Dodgers mashup jersey days.

If you're looking for athletic performance, the Under Armour Green Tech Stretch Tee ($22.50) offers breathable, stretchy fabric that's great for active days. But for pure office wear, the cotton tee is more budget-friendly.

• Consider your office dress code when choosing between cotton and performance fabrics.

Trade-Offs to Consider

• Price vs. Purpose: The Road Sticker is the cheapest car accessory at $3.50, but it's not wearable. If you want something you can also wear, a cap like the White GL Snapback at $9.50 offers dual function. Decide if you need display-only or wearable gear.
• Adjustability vs. Style: The Pride Mesh Snapback is adjustable and has a modern mesh back, but it costs $12.00. The White GL Snapback is also adjustable but simpler in design and cheaper. Pay extra for style and community support if it matters to you.
• Cotton vs. Performance Fabric: The Cursive Tee is 100% cotton for a classic feel, while the Under Armour tee uses stretch fabric for athletic use. Cotton is better for office comfort; performance fabric suits active days. Match the fabric to your daily activities.
